This honey is carefully harvested by our bees from the majestic flowers of the chestnut tree, an emblem of temperate regions in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Natural Park.

It is distinguished by its deep amber to dark brown color, reflecting its rich flavor and reminiscent of the color of chestnuts. Its intense, distinctive taste offers distinct chestnut notes.

There are often woody, sometimes slightly bitter notes, reminiscent of the characteristic aromas of the chestnut itself. Some even describe a hint of licorice or caramel.

In the Ardèche, chestnut blossoming is a magical moment that generally takes place from June onwards. The chestnut groves are adorned with dazzling beauty as the trees are covered with clusters of white flowers. This event is not only a feast for the eyes, but also crucial for bees and honey production.
